Primal Scream: The Lost Memphis Tapes (2018): Cast

This documentary explores the musical influences of Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, from early passions for Elvis and Aretha Franklin to embracing punk. It delves into the band's recording sessions in Memphis during the early 1990s, a period when the UK music scene was rapidly evolving with the rise of bands like Oasis and Blur. The film examines how this shift left Primal Scream feeling somewhat disconnected from the mainstream music landscape.
