What Is Porky at the Crocadero About?

The premise of Porky at the Crocadero without spoilers.

At the Crocadero nightclub, aspiring bandleader Porky—armed with a diploma from the Sucker Correspondence School of Music but penniless—takes a dish‑washing job to make ends meet. When his boss misconstrues Porky’s attempt to swat a fly as laziness, he’s promptly fired. With the scheduled bandleaders absent, Porky is called back and forced to masquerade as a string of famous conductors, improvising a chaotic yet humorous musical rescue.
