Jayantilal “Ratan” Pandey, a ruthless criminal, is finally brought down by ACP S. P. Malhotra. In a hospital room during Geeta Malhotra’s labor, the doctor reveals a remarkable twist: the twins born to Geeta share a reflection bond—what happens to one might be felt by the other, depending on how close they are. Ratan escapes with one baby, injuring Geeta in the process, as ACP Malhotra gives chase. The pursuing gunfight ends with Ratan shot, but the baby he escaped with survives. The child grows up as Raja Salman Khan, while Geeta’s trauma leaves her paralyzed and she eventually travels to the US for treatment. The other twin is raised as Prem Malhotra Salman Khan.

Raja grows up with Neelam, whom he considers a sister, and he befriends Rangeela Prakash Shakti Kapoor. The two young men dream small-time dreams and help each other survive on the margins of society. Meanwhile, Geeta’s condition improves only slowly as ACP Malhotra negotiates a painful distance between past and present. Prem, brought up abroad, returns to India as a successful rock star and is welcomed back by Kishan Sharma Kader Khan, a former friend of his father who wishes to see Prem marry his daughter Mala Karisma Kapoor. But Mala’s heart belongs to Raja, not Prem, setting up a fateful love triangle.

At the airport, Prem crosses paths with Roopa Rambha, the daughter of Sundari Batwani Bindu Desai, the powerful organizer of Prem’s shows. Prem falls for Roopa, while Tony, Sundari’s ambitious nephew, also pursues her. Complications multiply when Mala mistakes Prem for Raja and flirts with him, stirring jealousy and comic misunderstandings. One evening, Raja and Prem unexpectedly discover that they are identical twins, a revelation that triggers a cascade of humorous mix-ups and growing tension between the brothers and their loves.

Across town, Neelam witnesses a brutal murder committed by local thug Tiger Mukesh Rishi (the son of Ratanlal Pandey). Tiger’s rage after the courtroom scene makes him a dangerous foe for Raja and Neelam, and he makes threats to silence Neelam’s testimony. Raja retaliates, infuriating Tiger further and intensifying the threat to his sister. Tiger schemes to manipulate Neelam into marriage via his henchman Tommy, but Raja and Rangeela uncover the plot and intervene, trying to shield Neelam from a doomed fate. The court convicts Tiger for the earlier murder, condemning him to death.

Neelam’s pregnancy adds another layer of urgency: she is admitted to a hospital for delivery, and Raja asks Prem to guard the hospital while he tracks down money. In a dark turn, Tiger escapes jail to kidnap Neelam and learns that ACP Malhotra is his hunter and that Raja is his son. He uses this knowledge to blackmail Raja, threatening to pressure the doctor to free Neelam unless Raja cooperates. Unaware of the true parentage, Raja returns home, and Geeta emerges from paralysis with a single touch, confirming the horrifying truth that she and ACP Malhotra are his real parents, while Prem is his twin.

United by blood and the peril that Tiger represents, Raja and Prem join forces to protect their father from Tiger’s ruthless plans. The twins awaken to their shared reflex—a strange, mirrored bond that ties their fates even closer. In a final bid to prove themselves and to bring healing to the family, Raja and Prem confront danger side by side, facing down their enemies and the entangling web of loyalties that once tore their family apart. The story culminates with the brothers finding lasting happiness by marrying the women who love them, sealing a resolution that honors both the reflection bond and the power of familial ties.
