Home Delivery Plot Summary
What happens in Home Delivery from start to finish, spoilers included, with a timeline of 12 key events. The opening is below; the full summary is a 2-minute read.
Spoilers ahead
Home Delivery unfolds over a single day that quietly, then irrevocably, shifts a man’s outlook on life. At the center is Sunny Chopra, a 28-year-old writer who has carved out a reputation as a popular agony uncle, writing under the persona of Gyan Guru for the Times of Hindustan. Despite the sheen of success, he harbors a sharp cynicism, insisting his achievements are the fruit of hard work and clever timing rather than help from anyone else. This skepticism extends to every major facet of his life: his engagement to Jenny, and even the festive rhythm of Diwali itself, which he regards with a cool detachment rather than warm enthusiasm.
