Lo Wai-man [Francis Ng Chun-Yu] spent all his savings and his father’s retirement pension to buy an aging flat in the middle of a noisy neighborhood, a cramped space that he shares with his neurotic wife [Anita Yuen Wing-Yee] Suk-yin, their unemployed son [Ng Siu-Hin] Bun-hong, and their teenage daughter [Jocelyn Choi] Lo Yu Sze, who is navigating the throes of puberty, plus his elderly, disabled father [Cheung Tat-Ming]. The house is tight, the walls seem to close in with every complaint, and the Lo family constantly rubs against each other over the most ordinary inconveniences. Yet a window in the living room offers a distant, calming view of the ocean that quietly keeps their sanity intact amid the urban clamor. That small glimpse becomes their anchor, a subtle reminder of beauty beyond the city’s grind.

Everything changes when that ocean horizon vanishes after a billboard is illegally built on a neighboring building. The once-rare relief vanishes along with it, and the household’s fragile harmony frays as quarrels flare over the sudden loss of peace. The absence of the sea view intensifies each grievance, amplifying the daily tensions that have long simmered under the surface. In response, the Lo family mobilizes every resource they have in a collective effort to restore their precious calm. They set out to remove both the billboard and its owner, Louis Koo Wong Siu-choi, hoping to reclaim the sense of respite and stability that the city had seemed to strip away. Their campaign becomes more than a fight over a view; it is a striving to hold their family together in a crowded, unruly world.
