Green Card: An American Romance (1982): Cast

Styled like a daytime soap, the film follows Sumie, a Japanese artist who enters a marriage of convenience with an American surfer‑filmmaker to stay in the U.S. As their expectations diverge, cultural clashes intensify, exposing the pretentious Los Angeles art and lifestyle of the early 1980s and suggesting Hollywood’s manufactured reality can distort intimate relationships.
