Four Guns to the Border 1954

In 1881, a determined gang of four bandits fixates on robbing the bank of Cholla, Arizona, with a plan spearheaded by Cully, a restless outlaw who still commands loyalty from his crew even as danger closes in. Past attempts have ended grimly, often in the town cemetery, and this crew is wary but driven to pull off a heist that could change their fortunes. After fleeing their latest dud scheme, they cross paths with Simon Bhumer, a former gunslinger now living a quieter life, who is fiercely protective of his motherless daughter, Lolly Bhumer, who has just returned from school in Kansas. Lolly is young, spirited, and fearless, moving with a rough grace that can be both endearing and combustible, and she proves steady with a rifle even as she navigates the world of men who are both drawn to and wary of her.

The gang drifts toward Greasy’s La Tienda general store, waiting for their conspirator to join the plan, and the group lingers in the rugged outlying areas.
