In 1881, a determined gang of four bandits fixates on robbing the bank of Cholla, Arizona, with a plan spearheaded by Cully, a restless outlaw who still commands loyalty from his crew even as danger closes in. Past attempts have ended grimly, often in the town cemetery, and this crew is wary but driven to pull off a heist that could change their fortunes. After fleeing their latest dud scheme, they cross paths with Simon Bhumer, a former gunslinger now living a quieter life, who is fiercely protective of his motherless daughter, Lolly Bhumer, who has just returned from school in Kansas.
