Jai Mehta, a wealthy philanthropist, meets Tia Sharma, a teacher at a school for the deaf‑mute, and falls for her. She rejects him, introducing her fiancé Raj. After Tia marries Raj and they have a son, Jai’s drunken crash kills Raj and injures Tia, wiping her memory. Jai looks after her; as she recovers she loves him, unaware of her past or possible revenge.

Jai Mehta is a wealthy young man who dedicates himself to charity, quietly funding a school for the deaf that he sponsors. At one of his visits, he is accompanied by his friend, Anita, and the two share a moment of warmth as he meets Tia Sharma, a dedicated teacher at the school. An instant attraction flickers between them, and he flirts with the belief that she feels even a hint of what he feels. But [Tia Sharma] sees him differently, treating him as a good friend rather than a romantic interest. When he finally opens up about his feelings, she gently reveals that she has a fiancé, Raj.
