In this gripping tale, Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra (Vidyut Jamwal), a master of survival, combat, and tactical precision, is driven by a singular mission: to eradicate the scourge of black money that has infiltrated Indian banks. Accompanied by a talented team, including Insp. Bhavna Reddy (Adah Sharma), ACP Bakthwar (Freddy Daruwala), and Zafar, Karan sets out to dismantle the intricate networks of corruption. Their quest takes them on a perilous journey across borders, as they track down Vicky Chadda, the notorious kingpin of black money operations in India.
As Karan's boss (Adil Hussain), the head of the special cell tasked with combating financial fraud, reveals that Vicky has been apprehended in Malaysia, it seems like a major victory for the authorities. However, Karan is instructed to keep this information under wraps, leaving him to wonder what ulterior motives lie behind this secrecy.
Meanwhile, Indian Home Minister Leena Chowdhury (Shefali Shah) is passionately committed to eradicating black money, but her own son, Dishank Chowdhury (Suhail Nayyar), is unwittingly caught up in a web of deceit. He is secretly working for influential individuals in India to launder their ill-gotten gains, fearing that if Vicky were to return, his own involvement would be exposed, forcing him to take drastic measures.
Unbeknownst to Leena and Dishank, Karan has been monitoring their every move, having bugged their rooms. When they concoct a plan to bring Vicky back to India, using a special team comprising ACP Bakhtawar (a politician's favorite), Bhavna Reddy (an encounter specialist), Zafar (a cyber expert and hacker), and Sharad Pandey (Leena's personal confidant and a member of the police force), Karan sees an opportunity to infiltrate their operation. By orchestrating a clever ruse that forces Sharad Pandey to fake a stroke, Karan gains entry into the team, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown.
In the confines of a Malaysian safe house, the team encounters Vicky and his wife Maria (Esha Gupta), whose presence sparks a web of intrigue. Initially protesting his innocence, Vicky's claims are met with skepticism by Bhaktawar, who is duty-bound to bring him to India. Meanwhile, Maria finds solace in isolated conversation with Karan, revealing the truth behind Vicky's transformation from a peaceful banker in Dubai to a man on the run. It transpires that Vicky's downfall began when he was coerced into converting black money by Dishank and his Indian business associates, who later kidnapped his father in India. Faced with no choice but to comply, Vicky's life was forever altered. The revelation of his daughter's tragic demise at the hands of a car bombing serves as the catalyst for Vicky's quest for vengeance.
As Maria's narrative unfolds, Karan is convinced of her husband's innocence and tasks Zafar to verify the facts, which ultimately confirm Maria's tale. In a daring escape from their attackers, the group flees to Thailand, with Vicky claiming that he has hidden the money in an unknown location. Bhaktawar's reluctance to comply with Karan's plan prompts a tense standoff, culminating in a gunshot wound that momentarily incapacitates him.
In a shocking twist, Maria reveals her true identity as Vicky and dispatches the imposter posing as her husband. As she disappears into the night, accompanied by her entourage, Zafar falls victim to her wrath. Regrouping with Karan and Bhavna, they vow to prevent Vicky from accessing his hidden wealth. However, unbeknownst to them, Bhaktawar's team tracks their every move, setting the stage for a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game.
Karan initiates a ruse by feigning arrest and deportation at the hands of Indian authorities, a ploy that lulls Vicky into a false sense of security. As the chase continues, Karan meticulously tracks Vicky's movements, only to be thwarted by his cunning adversary. The stakes are raised as the game of wits reaches its climax, with both sides employing increasingly desperate measures to outmaneuver each other.
As Karan delves deeper into the mystery, he finds himself hot on the trail of a cunning hacker working for the enigmatic Vicky. This digital mastermind has been exploiting the accounts of deceased individuals, draining their lifeless bank accounts in small increments and then redirecting the funds to Vicky's own coffers. The hacker's ultimate goal is to transfer these ill-gotten gains to any account of Vicky's choosing, leaving a paper trail as thin as the morning mist.
Undeterred by the prospect of outsmarted foes, Karan braves the treacherous landscape of Vicky's bank locker, where he narrowly avoids extraction at the hands of Vicky's goons. Armed with his trusty infra-red glasses, he tracks down the laptop, a crucial key to unlocking Vicky's plan, and follows its digital trail straight into the heart of her operation.
However, Karan's triumph is short-lived, as Bakhtawar intervenes, thwarting his efforts and allowing Vicky to complete the transfer. But what appears to be a crushing defeat for our hero is actually the culmination of a meticulously planned scheme. It transpires that Karan had anticipated Vicky's move all along, secretly reprogramming the hacker's software before it was delivered into her hands.
This masterstroke reveals that Vicky's true intentions were not to pilfer from deceased individuals, but rather to funnel funds into the accounts of 3 Crore Indian farmers. Leena and Bakhtawar were unwitting accomplices in this grand plan, as they had anticipated that Vicky's adversaries would react with chaos if she did not take control of the situation.
In the aftermath of this revelation, Bhavna exacts a brutal vengeance upon Vicky, avenging the memory of Zafar. As the dust settles on this complex web of deceit and betrayal, Karan stands as a testament to the power of strategic thinking and calculated risk-taking.
