Bhadra, a college student, returns home for his sister’s wedding with Anu, a distressed young woman he introduces to the family as a friend. As the wedding plans unfold, a cloud of doubt starts to hover over Anu, and the relatives grow suspicious. Bhadra’s uncle pushes for a different match, eager to see his own daughter married into the family, and the tension mounts when he directly confronts Anu. A tense confrontation at a restaurant follows, where a gang appearance forces a confrontation; Bhadra chases them away and proves his nerve by fighting them off. In the confusion, he realizes he has left Anu behind and rushes back to the restaurant, only to discover that Anu has vanished. When his father presses for the truth, Bhadra reluctantly reveals a past he has kept hidden, setting the stage for what is to come.
In a flashback to the past, Bhadra and Raja share a deep friendship in Raja’s village. Anu, returning from London, is drawn to Bhadra’s steadiness and charm, and she is impressed by how he navigates the world with a blend of warmth and practicality. Bhadra fosters the belief that he could be a suitable groom for Anu, and he wins the trust of Anu’s family, including her brother Surendra and a cousin who are entangled in the village’s rough underworld. A temple visit arranged by Anu leads to a violent clash with a rival gang, and Bhadra steps in with swift bravery to protect Anu. After the incident, Surendra explains the dangerous dynamics of village life, where loyalties run deep and rivalries can be deadly, yet he remains committed to upholding his own high ideals.
The peace is fragile, however. A brutal confrontation erupts when the rival gang, led by Veerayya, exacts a heavy toll: Raja’s family is slain, sparing only Anu. Bhadra vows to shoulder the burden of protecting Anu, even as he becomes Veerayya’s principal rival. The conflict intensifies when Tulasi, the younger brother of Veerayya’s faction, is killed in a clash sparked by Bhadra’s intervention, a deed that intensifies Veerayya’s hatred and cements a mortal feud between them. Following this quagmire, Veerayya resolves to kill Bhadra rather than letting Anu go, heightening the stakes for everyone involved.
Back in the present, Surendra’s men track down Anu and bring her to Bhadra’s home, where safety remains precarious. Fearing for Anu’s future, Bhadra contemplates sending her to London, but Anu’s love for him makes the plan untenable. On the day of the planned flight, Anu encounters a friend of Bhadra and Raja at the airport, who testifies to the depth of Bhadra’s devotion to her. The revelation strengthens Anu’s resolve, and she realizes she cannot abandon Bhadra. She eventually locates him in the midst of a fierce clash with Veerayya and his men. Bhadra fights with determination, and after a hard-won victory over Veerayya, the couple escapes together. The pursuit ends when Veerayya is killed by Surendra’s henchman, marking a bitter end to the blood feud while sealing Bhadra and Anu’s reunion and departure together toward an uncertain future.
