What Is Ballad of Khevsureti About?
The premise of Ballad of Khevsureti without spoilers.
After his father dies in a blood‑feud, Imeda grows up in the city with his father’s friend. Fifteen years later he returns to Khevsureti, working as a painter who sketches the landscape and its people. He falls for the local beauty Mzekala, but rival Torghva also loves her and challenges Imeda to a duel, where Imeda kills him. To stop the vendetta, the villagers exile Imeda and Mzekala, yet a vengeful pursuer follows them.
