ACP Krishna Venkatesh is a warm-hearted police officer who believes in seeing the person inside the crime, showing empathy even toward criminals. The story threads Sailaja Nayanthara, the daughter of Sastry, a man accused of murder who has gone into hiding while police search for him. Sailaja runs a busy catering business to support her four sisters and their grandmother, juggling work with family drama. She quickly becomes a target in a dangerous game with Mallesh Yadav [Sampath Raj], a powerful goon loyal to MLA Puchappa [Posani Krishna Murali], who both press to capture Sastry. To complicate matters, Battayi Babji [Prudhviraj], Sailaja’s pestering maternal uncle’s son, keeps pressuring her to marry him, adding personal pressure to the already tense situation.

Krishna meets Sailaja at a low moment, and his immediate sympathy turns into love at first sight. As their bond grows, he learns about her life, her distrust of the police, and the threat closing in on her family. Because Sailaja dislikes the police, Krishna hides his true identity and befriends her with Babji’s help, presenting himself as a plain man who wants to help. He begins assisting Sailaja and her family, and the connection between them deepens, with Sailaja’s feelings for him blossoming in tandem with the growing sense of danger around Sastry.

Yet Krishna’s benevolent mission hides a tougher objective. He has been appointed by the Commissioner Murali Sharma to bring Sastry in, and the delicate balance between duty and love becomes strained. When Sailaja’s grandmother collapses and urgently wants to see her son, Krishna engineers a visit that lets Sastry come to the hospital. He tries to arrest Sastry there, but the impression Sailaja and her family make on him gives him pause, and he hesitates to carry out the arrest.

The situation shifts when a C.I. Brahmaji—an assistant to Krishna—enters the scene, surrounding Sastry and revealing Krishna’s concealed motives. Sastry escapes, only to be attacked by the goons of Puchappa and Mallesh, leaving him in a coma. Krishna rushes to the hospital to protect him, but Sailaja discovers Krishna’s true agenda and the couple parts ways. The mood of the film turns to investigation as Krishna digs into Sastry’s past and discovers a crucial truth: Sastry is actually an Income Tax officer.

A raid at Puchappa’s house yields a pendrive containing incriminating material—Puchappa’s affair with Mallesh’s wife and other hidden secrets. The pendrive becomes a bargaining chip, but a corrupt move by the superior officer attempting to strike a deal with Mallesh backfires. Puchappa and Mallesh murder the superior officer and pin the blame on Sastry, who now and his family face renewed danger as they become targets for the men pursuing the pendrive.

Krishna counteracts by sending the damning photos to Mallesh, exposing the corruption between Puchappa and Mallesh. Mallesh confronts Puchappa, ready to kill him, but Krishna arrives in time to arrest the two criminals. With the truth laid bare, Sastry is vindicated, and he gradually recovers from the coma. In the end, the estranged lovers—Sailaja and Krishna—rebuild their bond and Sailaja’s family begins to find a new sense of safety and trust, brought about by the officer who chose both duty and compassion in equal measure.
