In 1945, Burma is at a crossroads of loyalty and rebellion as British police hear rumors of a plane crash that allegedly ends Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s life. This news spurs plans to topple the INA that Bose helped found, while inside the movement a heated debate grows about Bose’s fate and the right path forward. Adhi, Rana Daggubati, is a devoted INA member who insists that Bose still lives and must lead a renewed fight, even as many peers doubt the claim. The factional tensions intensify as the idea of a new uprising takes shape, testing every member’s resolve and bringing old loyalties into sharp relief.

Flashback to 1942 finds Adhi as a promising barrister who travels from India to Burma to work under Subbayya, a respected barrister who is also closely aligned with the British. Adhi intends to marry Anandhi, Regina Cassandra, the daughter of Subbayya, and their relationship deepens as they share hopes for a future together. In Burma, Adhi witnesses the brutal oppression faced by Indians at the hands of corrupt British officers who loot the wealth of local communities. Inspired by the INA’s cause, he joins their ranks, takes up arms, and helps strike back against the colonial authorities by taking down several corrupt officers and challenging the regime’s mistreatment of the people. Subbayya, Nassar, who had approved of the match at first, grows uneasy about Adhi’s methods and growls that family safety must come first, even as Adhi and Anandhi’s bond endures. Nevertheless, with the support of Adhi’s trusted circle, Anandhi and Adhi marry, their union enduring amid the turmoil.

As protests erupt in Burma, Indians clash with the British, and many innocents fall under the violence and vendetta that grip the region. The upheaval hits close to home for Adhi when his own friend is killed in the chaos, a tragedy that hardens his resolve. The INA becomes a forceful counterweight to British power, and Adhi leads a bold coup that results in the death of the British governor, a move that triggers a brutal British retaliation in which many INA members are killed. Amid the bloodshed, Adhi survives the onslaught, his commitment to the cause undiminished.

Subbayya’s fear for his family’s safety grows, and he decides to flee with his wife and daughter, escaping aboard a ship to preserve what remains of his clan. Before boarding, Anandhi meets Adhi during an ensuing clash and reveals that she will travel to India on her father’s advice. Yet she reiterates her enduring love for him and urges him to complete the mission he began, with the hope that destiny might eventually permit their reunion.

Back in the present, the movement’s future hangs in the balance as Adhi’s insistence that Bose still lives prompts renewed efforts to sustain the INA’s fight. The story threads together the personal sacrifices, the political struggle, and the stubborn hope that independence can rise from the sacrifices made in Burma, guided by a resolve that refuses to yield to fear or despair.
