Widely recognized as one half of the creative force behind the Farrelly brothers, Peter has been lauded mainly for his contribution to comedy and romantic comedy films such as Dumb and Dumber, Shallow Hal, Me, Myself and Irene, There's Something About Mary, and the 2007 reimagination of The Heartbreak Kid. His portfolio of work expands further with his brother Bobby, with whom he often collaborates on screenwriting, directing and producing engaging films. The celebrated filmmaker's personal life is as full as his professional career, married to Melinda Kocsis with whom he has two children, Bob and Apple. An active supporter of disability rights, Farrelly bagged the Morton E. Ruderman Award for Inclusion of People with Disabilities in 2020.
