Hal Larson’s nightlife in the city’s upscale clubs allowed him fleeting interactions with striking women, yet these moments were overshadowed by a profound sense of emptiness. By day, he found himself trapped in a monotonous role at JPS Funds, further amplifying his feelings of stagnation. The constant rejections from his alluring neighbor, Jill, only intensified his discontent.
