A woman in a luxury house is overwhelmed by unseen notifications on her phone, and the tension snaps into tragedy as she slits her own throat.

In Southern France, CW (Cassandra Naud) — having escaped from Thailand and started a new life — and her girlfriend, Diane (Lisa Delamar), are celebrating their first anniversary. CW becomes frustrated by influencer Charlotte (Georgina Campbell), who wheels into their hotel with last‑minute demands, keeps pushing them to attend events, and ultimately lures the mood into danger. CW goes with her alone to a secluded landmark and pushes her off to her death, then sets out to impersonate Charlotte on social media, echoing something from the first movie. It’s framed as a relapse after a year of rebuilding a life with a stable partner.

After they return from their trip, Diane grows suspicious of CW’s increasingly erratic behavior. Later that day, CW returns to a scene of paranoia: Diane has searched through her things and uncovered fake passports and links to previous murders, including Charlotte’s. CW tries to explain, but Diane rejects the explanation, calling her a psychopath. In a surge of anger, CW strangles Diane, then immediately regrets the act and escapes to Bali. There, she uses Diane’s voice to build a personal AI assistant to cope with her grief and to automate her deepfakes and crimes.

Meanwhile, Madison (Emily Tennant, a survivor from the island the previous year, has kept a low profile under the glare of relentless media scrutiny and online bullying, and remains technically cleared of charges in the murders tied to CW’s crimes. She travels to France after hearing about the mysterious murder of an influencer (Charlotte) and discovers a photo of CW on Diane’s mom’s Instagram, which reveals CW’s Bali trip.

In Bali, Madison and CW encounter Jacob (Jonathan Whitesell), an alt‑right streamer, and his girlfriend, alt‑right influencer Ariana (Veronica Long), who is the woman from the opening scene. Each tries to recruit Jacob to help uncover or foil the other, painting the other as the true killer. Jacob grows suspicious of CW, but she hacks his computer and posts one of his and Ariana’s sex tapes online, exposing him as a cuck. Distraught by the leak of her private life, Ariana takes her own life, just before Madison arrives, drawn by Jacob’s messages.

The confrontation between Madison and CW escalates into a furious exchange about who bears the blame for Ariana’s death, culminating in a brutal fight that leaves Jacob seemingly fatally stabbed and CW knocked unconscious. Madison then uses CW’s phone to locate her hideout and her belongings, enlisting an AI‑Diane to exact revenge.

Jacob discovers that CW has posted his private videos, prompting him to stab her to death while his live stream camera stays active, exposing CW to hundreds of online viewers. The chat explodes with donations and reactions as the viewers debate whether it’s real or a hoax. In a final, unhinged burst, CW chases and brutalizes Jacob’s best friend and his entourage, the scene unfolding as the credits roll and the crowd’s reactions flood the stream. Madison steps away from the chaos, a wry smile crossing her face as she walks out of the hideout.
