Toby Huss

Tobias Huss, known as Toby Huss, is a prominent American actor, famed for his role as Artie in the popular Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete & Pete that aired between 1993 to 1996. Huss is also well recognized for his exceptional voice-over work on the long-standing animated series King of the Hill (1997–2010), where he breathed life to characters like Kahn Souphanousinphone and Cotton Hill. Further blossoming his acting prowess, he also played Felix 'Stumpy' Dreifuss on HBO's critically acclaimed Carnivàle (2003–2005) and John Bosworth on the AMC original period drama, Halt, and Catch Fire. Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, the future star was the son of a high school chemistry teacher and a cosmetics sales representative. His passion for the performing arts developed at the University of Iowa, where he participated in No Shame Theatre. Huss later moved to Los Angeles to chase his dreams of an acting career. Huss broke into the acting world in the 90s, showcasing his versatility through various quirky characters in MTV network promos before his breakthrough roles in The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and King of the Hill. He is also known for his Sinatra-inspired persona, Rudy Casoni, featured in films like Vegas Vacation and Down Periscope and released an album under this character's name. Apart from acting, Toby is a single father and engages in his hobbies as a multidisciplinary artist, painter, and photographer.
