Peter Stormare, born as Rolf Peter Ingvar Storm on August 27, 1953, is a renowned Swedish actor known for his versatile roles across films, television series, and video games. Stormare has a vast acting career spanned over several decades, starting from 1976 to present. His roles in the film 'Fargo' (1996), as Gaear Grimsrud and the character John Abruzzi in the television series 'Prison Break' (2005–2017) underscored his acting prowess. Some of his notable performances can be seen in the films like 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' (1997), 'The Big Lebowski' (1998), 'Armageddon' (1998), and 'Minority Report' (2002), to name a few.
Born in Kumla, Sweden, Stormare embarked on his acting journey with Ingmar Bergman's production of Hamlet and made a name for himself on the stage. Following this, he moved onto films and television and subsequently lent his voice to video games, including Mercenaries series and Until Dawn. Hill in the video game, Until Dawn. His role, Rutger Burlin, in the Swedish television series 'Midnattssol; and the part of Czernobog on the Starz series 'American Gods' were quite noted among the audience.
