His most recognized role is portraying Chief Deputy United States Marshal Art Mullen on the popular FX series 'Justified'. Additionally, he had a significant role in the Tom Hanks–produced miniseries 'From the Earth to the Moon' as Deke Slayton. Nick Searcy also showcased his directorial skills with his work on 'Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer', released on October 12, 2018. His acting career began in 1990 following his time living in New York. There, he partook in Off-Broadway plays such as 'Guys and Dolls', 'Cabaret' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. After moving back to North Carolina, he started his film career featuring in local movies like 'Days of Thunder' (1990), and 'The Prince of Tides' (1991). Searcy has made several television appearances. He had a recurring role on 'Thunder Alley', was a series regular on 'American Gothic', guest-starred on 'Murder One' and 'Nash Bridges' and has also starred in several TV movies. His filmography includes acclaimed films such as 'Cast Away' (2000), 'One Hour Photo' (2002), and 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' (2017). In 2015, he directed the movie 'Gosnell: America's Biggest Serial Killer'. Beyond his cinematic contributions, Nick Searcy has a prominence in social media circles. He is known for his frank conservative views and his interactions on platforms like Twitter.
