Larry Cedar, born Larry Frank Cedar on March 6, 1955, is an American actor whose career spans over four decades across television, film, voice‑over work, and the stage. After briefly enrolling at Hastings Law School, he impulsively auditioned for UCLA’s MFA Theater program, earning his MFA in 1978 and winning the Hugh O'Brian Acting Competition award for Best Actor, which secured a one‑year artist development contract with Universal Studios. Early roles included a starring turn opposite Rebecca De Mornay in the Ivan Reitman‑produced Feds and a memorable appearance as The Creature on the Wing in Steven Spielberg’s remake of Twilight Zone: The Movie. Cedar’s theatrical talent was recognized with an L.A. Theater Alliance Ovation Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, and he has repeatedly been nominated for Ovation honors for his work in productions such as Anything Goes and She Loves Me. His family includes fellow actors Jon Cedar and George Cedar, underscoring a lineage of performance artistry.
