In this offbeat, meta-filled adventure, a quartet of childhood friends—Doug McCallister, Ronald “Griff” Griffin, Kenny Trent, and Claire Simons—find themselves haunted by where life has led them. Discontent gnaws at them as they watch their dreams drift away, until Griff reveals a wild impulse: he has secured the rights to one of their favorite films, Anaconda, and proposes to shoot a low-budget indie version in the wild expanse of the Amazon in Brazil. The idea catches fire, and with a loan secured, they embark on a makeshift pilgrimage to the jungle, driven by a shared hunger for meaning, novelty, and a shot at something bigger than their ordinary days.

As the crew sets up, Griff enlists a local touchstone for authenticity: a snake handler named Santiago Braga. But tragedy strikes quickly when Griff accidentally kills the snake they planned to film with, a blunder that plunges the group deeper into improvisation and risk. Griff and Santiago venture deeper into the green maze of the forest in search of a replacement, only to be confronted by a terrifying predator—the anaconda itself—whose presence turns the jungle into a living, breathing threat.

Enter Ana Almeida, a newcomer who arrives with a claim that she’s pursuing illegal gold miners.
