Making his mark as Colonel William Tavington in The Patriot (2000), Isaacs continued to impress with performances in Black Hawk Down (2001), the Harry Potter franchise series (2002–2011) as Lucius Malfoy, Peter Pan (2003), Battle of the Brave (2004), The Escorial Conspiracy (2007), The Death of Stalin (2017), and Operation Mincemeat (2021).
