This list is essentially the final exam for the production, and every item must be passed perfectly.
What’s on a Typical List?
The requirements are exhaustive and technically precise, covering every aspect of the film. The cost and labor involved in creating these deliverables must be accounted for in the film’s post-production budget.

- Picture Masters:
- The highest quality version of the film (e.g., 4K, 16-bit DPX or ProRes 4444 XQ).
- Texted (with main titles) and textless versions (a ‘clean’ version for foreign territories).
- Different aspect ratio versions (e.g., widescreen for theatrical, 16x9 for broadcast).
- Audio Masters:
- Final sound mix (e.g., Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround, stereo).
