The name is a portmanteau of the artist Salvador Dalí and the Pixar robot WALL-E, hinting at its surreal artistic capabilities and its robotic nature. It demonstrated a much-improved capacity for rendering text accurately within images and following detailed instructions that previous models struggled with.
