Ramnadhan murdered; family flees to Madras

Ramnadhan is murdered by Nagappan, a convict he had testified against. In the aftermath, Sekhar, Anand, and their mother Mangalam decide to leave for Madras to start a new life. The murder triggers the family’s breakup and sets Sekhar on a path that will isolate him from his past.
