In the fictional town of Rajpur, Dilip Raj Singh Chaudhary, a law student who is a Rajput from Bikaner, secures a room in a dilapidated British-era pub. There he crosses paths with Ransa “Ransa” Abhimanyu Singh, a fiery prince who openly rejects the ideologies of his father and the aristocracy. Ransa’s bold, fearless nature leaves a strong impression on the milder Dilip.

Dilip’s university life begins with a brutal ragging by a gang led by Jadwal Pankaj Jha. They strip him and lock him in a room with Anuja Jesse Randhawa, a young lecturer at the same campus. Dilip and Anuja are released naked, an incident that stirs a clash between old power structures and new voices. Dilip’s brother urges him to move on, but Ransa pushes him toward revenge. After an uneasy hesitation, Dilip joins Ransa in an ill‑fated plan to attack Jadwal, only to be beaten, ragged, and expelled from the hostel.

Seeking protection, Ransa encounters Dukey Bana Kay Kay Menon, a local leader who is gathering support for the Rajputana separatist movement. Dukey promises safety from Jadwal and soon convinces Ransa to contest the university’s General Secretary elections. His opponent is Kiran Ayesha Mohan, who is revealed to be Ransa’s half-sister.

The plot thickens when Karan Aditya Srivastava kidnaps Ransa and pressures him to withdraw. Ransa refuses, and Karan kills him. Dukey then pushes Dilip to take Ransa’s place, bribing the electoral panel to rig the outcome in Dilip’s favor, making him the General Secretary. Kiran then seduces Dilip and convinces him to allow her to become the cultural secretary. Meanwhile, Dukey begins siphoning university funds toward the Rajputana movement, a reality Dilip seems to control on the surface.

As Dilip confronts the misuse of funds, Dukey reveals the existence and reach of the movement. Jadwal is killed by Dukey’s gang, a display of intimidation to keep Dilip in line. Anuja is expelled from the hostel and moves in with Dilip, and he also enters a complicated relationship with Kiran. When Kiran becomes pregnant, she aborts the pregnancy and ends her relationship with Dilip. Frustrated, Dilip resigns, which clears the path for Kiran to step in and seize his post. Dukey warns Karan and Kiran that they survive only because they are royal offspring.

Dilip, consumed by his love for Kiran, turns violent and shoots Dukey. As he lies dying, Dukey reveals that Kiran used him to reach the top. Karan then discloses his master plan: after Dukey’s elimination, he will be the one to lead the Rajputana movement. Karan’s gang targets Bhati, hoping to weaken Dukey’s defenses. Dilip longs to hear the truth from Kiran, but she won’t answer his calls. Bhati is killed by Karan’s men, and a gravely wounded Dilip drags himself home to die, alone.
