FAQ
How the Plot Summary Search Works
3 answers: searching by title, the 99 languages covered and what to do when a film is missing.
How do I find the plot summary of a movie?
Type part of the title in the search box: results update as you type and the best title matches come first. Add a genre, a language or a release year range to narrow them, for example when several films share a title.
Are there plot summaries of foreign-language films?
Yes. English films have the most summaries (25,616), followed by Hindi (1,963), Tamil (1,370) and Japanese (1,307). Pick a language in the filters to list them.
What if the search finds nothing?
Check the spelling or try the original title. If the film is still missing, send a request with the title, year and director.
