Jeremy Reins, a dedicated U.S. Secret Service special agent tasked with protecting the president, finds himself in a harrowing situation when he is unexpectedly drugged and kidnapped. He awakens disoriented and trapped inside a glass box within the dark confines of a car’s trunk. Initially, Jeremy suspects that this is some sort of prank orchestrated by those to whom he owes gambling debts. However, he soon realizes the terrifying reality of his circumstances—a sinister plot by terrorists who are intent on extracting vital information from him.

Throughout his captivity, Jeremy undergoes both mental and physical torture, as the terrorists demand he reveal the locations of secret bunkers, referred to as “Roulette,” which are designated for usage by the president and vice president during times of national crisis. His only companion in this nightmare is Henry, another hostage who is also confined in a separate trunk. The two men are provided with old radios that allow them to communicate with one another, while simultaneously serving as a means for their captors to taunt them.

As Jeremy and Henry exchange conversations, Jeremy learns that they are actually in cars rigged with explosives and that they are speeding through Maryland, heading straight towards Washington D.C. Their terrifying ordeal escalates when a police car nearly intercepts them, triggering a frantic high-speed chase. Despite the chaos, Jeremy remains trapped and is subjected to unimaginable torment, including being attacked by bees—the very creatures he is allergic to. Fortunately, the terrorists administer an Epi-pen injection to keep him alive, as they need him to remain conscious and compliant.

The stakes rise further when Molly, Jeremy’s estranged wife, is also captured and placed in yet another trunk. Despite enduring intense emotional suffering and psychological pressure, Jeremy steadfastly refuses to reveal the coveted information sought by his captors. As the countdown timer in his trunk hits zero, his glass box begins to fill with liquid, pushing him to the brink of drowning. Just as hope seems lost, he is unexpectedly rescued by Henry.

In a shocking twist, it is unveiled that the entire ordeal has been a test, an elaborate exercise designed to assess Jeremy’s resilience under extreme pressure. Everyone he encountered during this harrowing experience, including Henry and his wife Molly, was part of the simulation, equipped with radios to play their respective roles. After collapsing from his injuries, Jeremy finds himself in an ambulance alongside Molly. During their ride to the hospital, he sees the iconic Washington Monument through the window and chuckles—a moment of levity amidst the chaos.

When Molly inquires if the monument signifies the location of the bunkers, Jeremy brushes off the concern and instead presents her with an engagement ring, asking her to marry him again. As they share a kiss, Molly cleverly handcuffs him to the gurney and pulls a wire from her shirt, revealing that her allegiance lies with the terrorists. This shocking revelation comes just as they inform her, via radio communication, that they now possess the sought-after information and that Jeremy is to be executed as a result. In a gut-wrenching climax, Molly holds a gas-filled mask over Jeremy’s face, and the screen suddenly cuts to black, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
