Two locals go missing after an affair

Days after the fisherman's death, Liz Walker and Cal Moulton vanish near the swamp while carrying on an affair behind Liz's husband. The disappearances spark renewed fear, and search parties are organized across the area. Rumors swirl that the affair or some hidden motive may be involved, and Liz's husband becomes the initial suspect.

Suspicion and the husband's suicide

The husband of Liz is arrested and blamed for the missing couple's fate, fueling tension within the town. While in jail, he commits suicide, leaving investigators to question what really happened. The case grows more tangled as rumors and fear spread through the community.

With more disappearances, search parties are formed throughout the surrounding area to locate the missing people. Two additional men vanish in the same vicinity, escalating the sense of danger.
