Ron Livingston: Movies & Box Office

Ronald Joseph Livingston, born on June 5, 1967, is a notable American actor. He rose to fame for his performances in Office Space (1999) and miniseries Band of Brothers (2001). Livingston's portfolio includes notable roles in films such as Swingers (1996), Adaptation (2002), The Conjuring (2013), James White (2015), and Tully (2018). He has also appeared in television series like Loudermilk (2017–2020) and Boardwalk Empire (2013). Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he pursued his education at Yale University where he graduated in 1989. His acting journey began at Theatre Cedar Rapids and then moved on to Chicago's local theatre scene. Livingston's career took off with his first film role in Dolly Parton's Straight Talk in 1992. Known for his versatile acting skills, he played a variety of roles ranging from a Hollywood agent in Adaptation, an FBI negotiator in Fox series Standoff to a shady card shark in the indie film Holly. Aside from his contributions to the film industry, Livingston has also graced the off-Broadway stage with his performance in Neil LaBute's In a Dark Dark House. The series Loudermilk, where he played the title role, is another feather in his cap. Livingston enjoys a vibrant personal life with his wife Rosemarie DeWitt and their two adopted children.
