Mildred Natwick (June 19, 1905 – October 25, 1994) was a renowned American actress. Born to Mildred Marion (née Dawes) and Joseph Natwick in Baltimore, Maryland, she hailed from a significant background. Her father was a successful sawmill baron and dairy farmer who established Dunloggin Dairy Farm. Notably, her first cousin was animator and cartoonist Grim Natwick.

Natwick's acting journey began at the age of 21 with 'The Vagabonds', a non-professional theater group in Baltimore. She debuted on Broadway in 1932, and throughout the 1930s, she worked in a multitude of plays, frequently collaborating with Joshua Logan. She made her film debut in John Ford's 'The Long Voyage Home' and continued to appear in several of Ford's film classics. Natwick had also worked with other notable directors, including Alfred Hitchcock. She was twice nominated for Tony Awards and is well-remembered for her roles in 'The House Without a Christmas Tree', 'The Thanksgiving Treasure', and 'The Easter Promise'. Her exceptional performance in The Snoop Sisters earned her a Primetime Emmy Award. She made her final film appearance at the age of 83 in 'Dangerous Liaisons'.
