Kristin Landen Davis, also listed as Kristin Lee Davis, is an American actress and producer known for playing Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the HBO romantic comedy series Sex and the City (1998–2004), for which she received nominations at the Emmys and the Golden Globes in 2004. She reprised her role in the Sex and the City films (2008 and 2010), as well as the revival of the show And Just Like That... (2021–present) on Max. Before her breakthrough role, Davis had a significant role playing Brooke Armstrong in the Fox prime time soap opera Melrose Place (1995–1996). Her film credits include The Shaggy Dog (2006), Deck the Halls (2006), Couples Retreat (2009), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) and Holiday in the Wild (2019). Onstage, she made her Broadway debut playing Mabel Cantwell in the 2012 revival of The Best Man, and her West End debut in the original 2014 stage production of Fatal Attraction.

Davis was born on February 23, 1965, in Boulder, Colorado and was adopted by her stepfather, a University of Colorado Boulder professor. Early in her childhood, she moved to Columbia, South Carolina, where her father taught psychology at the University of South Carolina. Davis aspired to be an actress from an early age. After graduating from high school, she moved to New Jersey to attend Rutgers University, where she earned a BFA degree in acting. After her studies, Davis moved to New York and started her acting career. Over her career, she has guest-starred in notable shows like Seinfeld, Friends, and Will & Grace, and has played leading roles in miniseries such as Atomic Train alongside Rob Lowe. Davis has also hosted shows, worked as a voice actress and worked also behind the camera as a producer on projects such as the documentary Gardeners of Eden and Netflix's romantic comedy-drama film Holiday in the Wild.
