Born in Jakarta to a Minangkabau father and a mother from Sungai Geringging, Padang Pariaman, he grew up as the eldest child and later welcomed a younger sister, Jessie Putri. His early education took place at SMK Tunas Jakasampurna where he majored in technology, but a demanding filming schedule forced him to switch to home schooling to balance his studies and burgeoning career.
