Dear Nathan: Thank You Salma (2022): Cast & Plot

The film tells the story of Salma and Nathan at the college level, where their romance grows alongside their distinct paths in student life. [Salma], a student majoring in Indonesian Literature, and [Nathan], who is studying engineering, navigate not only the usual campus joys and challenges but also the powerful pull of social activism. Their relationship is colored by their different approaches to making a difference: Salma tends to express herself and rally others through digital channels, while Nathan prefers to take to the streets and participate in on-site demonstrations. This clash in method gradually tests their bond, as Salma worries that Nathan’s street actions could compromise his safety, even as Nathan remains determined to stay actively engaged in student causes.
