He is the offspring of the renowned Michel Audiard, who was also a recognized figure in the film industry as a director and screenwriter. Audiard's storied career has seen him garner a multitude of accolades including two coveted British Academy Film Awards, eleven Cesar Awards and four prestigious prizes from the Cannes Film Festival.

Audiard first stepped into the realm of feature films with 'See How They Fall' in 1994. This was followed by an impressive lineup of films like 'Read My Lips' (2001), 'The Beat That My Heart Skipped' (2005) and 'Rust and Bone' (2012).
