She later ventured into the music industry in 1977 and has been a prominent figure ever since. Her successful singles include 'Private Life', 'Pull Up to the Bumper', and 'Slave to the Rhythm'. She was also nominated for a Grammy for her innovative music video collection, A One Man Show.
