He is recognized for his roles in several films and tv shows, like Pedro Cerrano in the 'Major League' trilogy, Secret Service agent Tim Collin in the film 'Absolute Power', and as Sergeant Major Jonas Blane in the CBS series 'The Unit'. More notably, Haysbert has been acknowledged for his role as President David Palmer on the initial five seasons of '24', and God in the Netflix series 'Lucifer'. Haysbert's acting career launched in 1978, kicking off with a guest role in 'The White Shadow'.
