Rob Anderson, Marlon Wayans, is a substitute teacher who is offered a full-time post but hesitates to commit. He and fiancée, Megan Swope, Regina Hall travel to Charleston, South Carolina for their wedding the next day, hoping for a quiet, joyous moment before their lives change. Megan’s disapproving father, Reginald Swope, Dennis Haysbert, has invited Megan’s successful ex-boyfriend Cody to the ceremony, adding tension to the trip and foreshadowing the conflicts to come. Rob heads out with his best man, Benny, and in a cruel twist of fate wakes up naked in an elevator in a distant hotel on the morning of the wedding, only to be arrested for streaking when the elevator doors open near the church.
