Christopher Jacob Abbott is a renowned American actor born on 10th February 1986. He is recognized for his remarkable performances in independent films. In 2011, he made noteworthy debuts in feature film and Broadway with Martha Marcy May Marlene and The House of Blue Leaves respectively. He received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, for his exceptional performance in the drama film James White (2015).

Abbott played diverse roles in several films and TV series including portraying astronaut David Scott in First Man (2018), and other roles in A Most Violent Year (2014), It Comes at Night (2017), Possessor (2020), Black Bear (2020), and Poor Things (2023).
