Caroline Anne Crowley, also known as Carrie Crowley, is a noted Irish actress and a Gaeilgeoir. Born on 23 May 1964, she has had a diverse career not just as an actress but also as a radio and television presenter. This includes having her own chat show, Limelight, and co-presenting the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with Ronan Keating. Crowley's acting credits expand across a wide range of series, including The Clinic, School Run, An Crisis, and Fair City. She also bagged the role of Elisef in the popular TV series, Vikings. Her stellar performance in An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl) earned her a Best Supporting Actress IFTA award nomination in 2022. Beyond the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry, she was also originally a primary school teacher, after she graduated with a B.Ed. from St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra.

Crowley kickstarted her broadcasting career with her own city's local radio, Waterford on WLR FM. She presented several shows between 1991 and 1996, then moved on to RTÉ. She first appeared in children's programming, co-presented the Irish language versions of Echo Island alongside comedian Dara Ó Briain, and starred in the preschool series The Morbegs. Post her prominent role as the presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest 1997, Crowley became one of the most recognized faces on RTÉ in the 1990s. She hosted multiple shows-she presented Potluck from Monday to Friday at 5:30, presented her own health show, Pulse, on Thursday nights, and ran her prime-time chat show, Limelight, on Sundays. Crowley later returned to radio, co-presenting Fandango with Ray D'Arcy on RTÉ Radio 1. The multi-faceted lady went on to pursue an acting career, starring in the TG4 drama The Running Mate, The Clinic, and TV3's School Run. She also appeared in a drama series for TG4, Anseo, and was a cast member in Fair City from 2014 to 2018.
