Abhinay “Abhi”, a fresh recruit of Selvamani, a drug lord with a passion for music, looks back on his past as he narrates it to his enigmatic boss. The story unfolds in two intertwined layers: a remembered history and the tense present where the truth he uncovers reshapes his fate.

In the past, Abhi is a budding junior artist in Hyderabad, dreaming of a breakthrough in Telugu cinema. He shares a crowded home with his parents, Somsasekharam and Usha, and their ordinary life is tinged with his growing hunger for the screen. A chance encounter with Likitha, a successful businesswoman, awakens a new romance and the possibility of a brighter future. Abhi lands a job at Likitha’s company, but the dream is short-lived: he resigns in pursuit of acting as the lead in a film directed by his friend Rakesh. This bold move sparks family tension, and Somsasekharam expels him from the house after learning of the resignation. Yet fortunes shift again when Rakesh reconsiders, only to ultimately remove Abhi from the project, leaving him adrift and hurt.

Heartbreak drives Abhi into a risky detour. He finds himself at a roadside dhaba, where a confrontation with goons leads to a brutal altercation with Loki, the brother of the feared gangster Nero. To Abhi’s shock, this is not mere coincidence—the events he faces echo Nero’s existence as the antagonist in Rakesh’s script. As revelations stack up, Abhi realizes that the sequence of incidents around him seems to be scripted—and perhaps guided by a higher will, one that wants him to stay out of the film. This belief compels him to reenact the script as if life itself were leaning toward a predetermined finale. In a bold move, he confronts Nero as the fictional hero, Sai Saitan Nath, challenging the real-world gangster to a duel he believes is already written.

Nero, aware of the ruse, reveals the power of the game and offers a dangerous deal: he will raise Abhi as the leading man in a real life struggle, with the grim possibility that Nero could kill him to cement his own control. The plot intensifies as Sai—a persona Abhi adopted—halts the criminal spree attributed to Nero, prompting a fierce showdown that tests loyalties and wits alike. Amid the chaos, Likitha, along with Abhi’s parents, unexpectedly arrives, disguising themselves as Likitha’s parents to stage a staged misrepresentation of Abhi as an orphan in a village, a ruse designed to secure a future marriage alliance. The villagers become a chorus of complicity, nudging the story toward a dramatic manipulation of identity and destiny.

Complicating matters, Nero pulls IG Vijay Chakravarthy into the crisis; however, Vijay, convinced by the unfolding truth, stands by Abhi and fans the flames of contention, widening the rift between myth and reality. The tension crescendos in a brutal confrontation: Nero stabs Abhi and sends his true identity to Vijay, forcing the police officer to declare Abhi a cop to preserve appearances. Yet Abhi survives and boldly declares that the final confrontation is the film’s pre-climax, insisting Nero’s death will close the chapter. In a dramatic act, Abhi kills Nero before Vijay, but the officer uses the moment to craft a fresh path: a new identity for Abhi that will enable him to capture Selvamani.

Returning to the present, Abhi’s narration culminates in his decisive arrest of Selvamani. The drug lord, moved by Abhi’s performance and the arc that the recruit’s life has traversed, abandons revenge, choosing to admire the craft that shaped his downfall. Before the closing beat, Vijay assigns Abhi a fresh mission: to pursue and bring down an international gangster, signaling a transition from personal vendetta to a broader, high-stakes pursuit. The tale closes with Abhi stepping into this new identity, carrying forward a reputation rebuilt from the ground up and a resolve tempered by the turbulent line between script and reality.

The film leaves viewers with a meditation on art imitating life—and life reimagined as art—as a young actor’s journey through ambition, loyalty, manipulation, and ultimate redemption concludes with a call to confront a larger, global threat.
