Laadli Divya Khosla Kumar is a recovering thalassemia patient living in Shimla with her mother, who hopes she will marry into a well-off family. Yet Laadli yearns for her own path, dreaming of winning a beauty pageant and building a career of her own. When her mother introduces a prospective husband, Abhay Singh Katyal Yash Daasguptaa, he becomes genuinely interested after learning about Laadli’s illness and her candor. The couple reunites their families and preparations for the wedding bring in Laadli’s cousins Shikhar Randhawa Meezaan Jafri and Bajju Das Khatri Pearl V Puri to attend.

Shortly after the vows, Abhay withdraws, claiming he has a meeting with his manager, and what begins as a traditional union soon feels hollow. The newlyweds relocate to Mumbai, stepping into a life that feels soulless and void of warmth as they try to navigate a marriage built on complex shadows rather than shared dreams.

In Mumbai, Shikhar Randhawa is introduced as a fearless daredevil bike racer who once helps a female friend escape an arranged marriage, a move that forces the groom to renounce a racing pact as revenge. Shikhar travels to the city to stay with Bajju, a plain-spoken man who works a standard 9-to-5 job to support his family. The brothers’ world widens when Shikhar changes his phone number to that of a deceased man named Jeh, and a strange connection begins to form: Ikroor “Rooh” Awasthi Anaswara Rajan, a paraplegic girl, believes she can hear Jeh’s voice in a voice note. Moved by her vulnerability, Shikhar finds himself drawn to Rooh, and a tender, complicated romance blossoms.

Meanwhile, Bajju develops feelings for Shona Warina Hussain, an air hostess who uses him as a prop to provoke jealousy in her ex-boyfriend. As these delicate feelings take shape, the trio confronts the fragility of love, trust, and loyalty.
