Lucky Negi, Sneha Ullal, is a quiet, studious girl who lives with her parents and her younger sister. Her father, Mr. Negi, Ravi Baswani, works for Ambassador Sekhri, the Indian ambassador to Russia, whose son is Aditya Sekhri, Salman Khan. Aditya is a capable, everyday young man who moves through a life shaped by duty and family ties.

One day, while on the way to school, Lucky’s bicycle tire goes flat and she becomes the victim of an attempted rape by a young Russian. She manages to escape and hides in a parked car, while the car’s owner, Aditya, unaware of his “cargo,” drives the car to meet his father until he is stopped at a check-post. At that moment, a tense realization dawns as he discovers Lucky sitting in the back seat. The situation intensifies when a terrorist attack erupts, plunging the area into chaos. Aditya and Lucky scramble to safety and manage to escape, eventually seeking shelter in an isolated graveyard.

Back home, Ambassador Sekhri and Mr. Negi make a concerted effort to recover their children. They enlist a private investigator, retired Colonel Pindi Das Kapoor, to locate them. Colonel Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, brings experience and grit to a mission that grows ever more urgent as the danger around them widens. He arrives at the graveyard just as new complications unfold, and, in a cruel turn, Lucky accidentally drinks water poisoned by terrorists, forcing Aditya to act quickly to secure their safety.

To ensure they receive proper care, Aditya persuades a local doctor, Kader Khan, to take them in. The doctor provides essential treatment, offering a glimmer of hope amid the mounting pressure. Once discharged, the two lovers face a long and arduous road back to their families, navigating a maze of peril, suspicion, and fatigue while trying to stay one step ahead of their pursuers.

As their bond deepens, Aditya and Lucky fall in love, a connection that grows even as danger looms. The ever-watchful Colonel Kapoor continues to pursue leads and, at last, locates the couple, guiding them toward reunion with their families. The emotional return home marks a turning point—yet the journey is not over, as they prepare to fly back to India after the harrowing ordeal.

At the airport, the Colonel makes a final, hopeful promise: he will arrange to return Aditya’s car to him by ship. With Russia and the Colonel behind them, Aditya and Lucky bid a poignant farewell to the country that tested them, carrying their memories and a resilient sense of hope as they step toward a new life together.
