The film opens in a celestial realm where Yama’s assistant Chitragupta loses the Brahma Suvadi, a sacred book created by Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma to govern human birth, death, post-death punishment, and rebirth. The Brahma Suvadi slips into a city in Tamil Nadu, and a young man named Gopi comes into possession of it, using what it reveals to grow rich and influential. When Brahma learns the book is missing, he tasks Yama and Chitragupta with locating it within a month. Chitragupta fears that if humans lay eyes on the book, chaos could erupt, but Yama reassures him that the book only shows the details of the person who is viewing it.

Yama and Chitragupta travel to Tamil Nadu to search for the missing tome, following its traces. In a pivotal moment, Gopi reads the date of his mother’s death through the book, a revelation that changes the stakes of his life. Now, driven by love and the need to protect his family, Gopi vows to save his mother and win his lover, using the book’s knowledge to navigate danger and desire alike.

Across the path stand a formidable antagonist, Sivaraman, a ruthless don who wants to uncover the secret of Gopi’s success.
