Murugan, a struggling real estate agent, lives with his wife Deivanai and their son. Financial troubles weigh heavily on him, but a stroke of luck seems to shift his fortunes when he wins a car, something he begins to treat as a lucky charm that could turn his life around.

Shivakumar, a short-tempered police officer, crosses paths with Murugan over a parking dispute that flares up near a neighbor’s house. The confrontation grows tense until a politician steps in and compels the officer to apologize, signaling the first crack in Murugan’s precarious luck.

A few days later, as Murugan gears up to meet an important client, he parks near his landlord’s house and wakes up to the shocking news that the car has vanished the next day. With the help of his friend Venkat, he files a police complaint. The case lands in the hands of the officer, who promises to investigate. Yet Venkat hints that the mystery might be less about theft and more about a personal grudge held by the officer.

Encouraged by Venkat’s suspicion, Murugan escalates his efforts by filing a complaint against the officer with higher authorities. In retaliation, the officer frames Murugan in a drug-peddling case, turning Murugan’s life upside down. Concurrently, a group of thugs deceives Murugan into paying two lakh rupees for a wrecked car, fraudulently claiming it is his stolen vehicle.

Driven by a desperate need to reclaim what he’s lost, Murugan’s focus on work collapses and he is eventually fired. The mounting pressure becomes too much for his wife, who leaves him, leaving Murugan to face the fallout alone. In a stark act of despair, Murugan even kidnaps the officer’s pet dog, hoping to force the officer to feel the pain of losing something precious.

Time passes, and Murugan begins to see the truth: the officer is an honest man. He returns the dog and confesses his reckless actions. Touched by Murugan’s contrition, the officer steps in to help recover the car and clears Murugan’s name, restoring a glimmer of trust in the system.

In the end, Murugan is reunited with his family, reclaiming both his dignity and happiness. The ordeal leaves him wiser, with a renewed sense of hope for a steadier future and the possibility of rebuilding what was nearly lost.
