What Is Wild Boys of the Road About?
The premise of Wild Boys of the Road without spoilers.
During the Great Depression, Tommy’s mother is jobless and Eddie’s father has just lost work. To spare their families, the two high‑school sophomores hop freight trains, traveling the rails in search of employment. Along the way they adopt hard‑living roles—girls acting like boys and boys embracing a rough, almost savage existence.
