In ancient times, a circle of Druids fights to keep Satan’s son from rising, using six magical rune stones that conjure light to vanquish darkness. They perform a ritual on a woman selected by Satan, hoping to seal the threat away. But when Christians intervene, suspecting their work to be Satanic, the ensuing clash devastates the Druid order; many Druids die, and the rune stones are scattered across the land, their power seemingly lost.

In the present day, Kenny Travis [Chris Young] and Samantha Ellison [Paula Marshall] are a young couple in love who keep bumping against the pressures of family legacy. Both of their parents are Druids, and the weight of that heritage complicates their relationship. Samantha’s father, Ted Ellison [Bruce Glover], is a priest who has neglected his own Druid duties, while Will Travis [Steve Kahan], Kenny’s father, harbors a ruthless plan: he murders his son so the Druid rites can reanimate him as a warrior for their cause. The act of betrayal and resurrection sets off a chain of events that will pull the living into the ancient conflict anew.

Across town, Amanda Sloan [Dawn Ann Billings] holds one of the rune stones, having inherited it through her family. On a night when a lunar eclipse darkens the sky, she wears the stone as a bold accessory to impress a date, only to experience a shocking transformation: she becomes pregnant with the Warlock, Satan’s reborn son. After the birth, the Warlock murders Amanda and then speaks with Satan, who directs him to find the remaining stones. Using Amanda as a conduit, the Warlock begins to map a path to the other runes, and he has exactly six days to assemble them and summon a force from beyond.

Kenny discovers his own latent Druid powers and starts to learn how to wield them, while Samantha—now drawn into the quest—joins him. The couple faces hostility and persecution from wary villagers, but they are shielded at times by Ted, who clings to the hope that the old ways can be tempered with care. Meanwhile, the Warlock swiftly collects the other runes, leaving a trail of murder in his wake as he closes in on his ultimate goal: bringing Satan to Earth.

As the countdown tightens, Kenny and Samantha realize they must confront the Warlock with everything they have. The Warlock defeats them and extracts the final rune, opening a portal to Hell. Satan begins to rise, casting a shadow over the world. In a desperate, luminous gambit, Kenny and Samantha summon the last of their strength and ignite the lights of a nearby truck, turning darkness to light. The Warlock screams in terror as he is killed, and Satan is banished back to Hell, defeated by the very force they sought to harness—light over darkness. The struggle ends with the implication that the power of hope and unity can outshine even the darkest magic.
