What Is Warlock About?

Satan's son, an evil warlock, is captured by 17th‑century New England witch‑hunter Giles Redferne. Using dark powers, the warlock escapes death and is hurled to the 1980s, where he plots to end the world. Redferne follows him into modern times, grappling with technology, and with a young woman's help seeks to stop the warlock's plan.

In 1691 Boston, the witch-hunter Giles Redferne, portrayed by Richard E. Grant, sentences a dangerous Warlock to death for his dark activities, including the fatal injury to Redferne’s wife. But a sinister force—Satan—snatches the Warlock and thrusts him through a portal into the late 20th century, landing him in Los Angeles, where Redferne himself chases through time with a relentless sense of duty.
