What Is The Stud About?
The premise of The Stud without spoilers.
While on a tranquil holiday in the South of France, veterinary surgeon William Chaminade witnesses a young woman attempt suicide from a hotel window. Rescued by a passing athlete, she confides that her husband’s indifference drove her despair. Inspired, Chaminade launches a state‑funded pleasure centre to meet such romantic needs, only to attract the scrutiny of zealous tax inspector Dupuis.
