What Is The Day of the Roses About?
The premise of The Day of the Roses without spoilers.
On January 18, 1977, a crowded commuter train bound for Sydney derailed and slammed into the pillars of an overhead road bridge, crushing a carriage, killing 83 passengers and injuring more than 200. The film recounts the coronial inquiry, interwoven with flashbacks of the crash, and follows rescuers as they work to free the wounded victims.
